One of the groups we long to help is currently serving approximately 480 orphans just outside Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. These children have nothing, and the caregivers are struggling to meet the demands of feeding, medicating and educating them. Three of our children came to us from Ethiopia. We had considerable help along the way. Through adoptawear, we hope to help many others. Here we are meeting our kids in Ethiopia! Not all moms need to give up their kids, especially if we are helping them learn legitimate, revenue-generating skills. Not all kids need to be adopted, especially if they are able to receive care and food and medicine and education in a safe environment. We have learned this first hand. And when children are orphaned (for whatever reason) and adoption becomes a viable solution, it is great to know that there are people stepping out and stepping up to adopt. Adoption is a choice! It is one form of taking care of widows and orphans.
